Photograph of Holbrook, Missouri, and Evelyn presumably dressed to perform at the 1932 May Fete Play. Two of them were sitting down wearing fur coats and another was standing wearing a bowler hat and a fake beard. Sophomores and seniors had their annual May Fete event in the middle of the month of May. The event was one in which the sophomores honored the seniors by holding May dances, performing serenades, hosting a strawberry shortcake breakfast and crowning the senior class president "Queen of the May" at their May Fete play.
