About the Project
The Marketing committee identified the target audience, established a project mission, and cultivated the brand persona and logos. To cover the cost of the launch party, funds were secured from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) and also through the sale of branded merchandise on Cafe Press. Additionally, the committee promoted the library via a multitude of print and digital channels including Facebook, GSLIS listservs, campus TV advertisemens, flyers, and word-of-mouth.
