About the Project
Evaluation and Usability
To aid in finalizing the library, the Evaluation and Usability committee conducted testing and devised evaluation exercises which generated meaningful results for use by other committees, most especially Database and Web/IA. After drafting an Evaluation and Usability plan, the committee employed multiple, complementary testing techniques to gather a variety of data for analysis. The committee put together an open card sort, conducted a methodology called Usability at 90mph, designed personas for use with a survey, and facilitated a heuristic evaluation. All of the data from these activities were compiled in a report and provided to the team, along with recommendations for making improvements to the site.
